Whats up guys. Dropin in to say hello. To be honest, Im new to this whole world of trading. Ive read a few books on it but by no means have grasped the concepts of successful trading. Recently reading up on the legendary turtle traders, Ive become interested in trend trading. Wondering what your thoughts on the topic are? Why have you chosen the trend style? Based on other styles of trading whats a trender's advantages? Lastly, where should I start? I feel overwhelmed with the wealth of information out there. What would be a good book to pick up? Or maybe aspects of trend trading to master and/or begin with?

Sorry guys that this is more of a Q & A than a hello, but Im just a lost rookie.

I appreciated the direction,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Welcome to TrendTraderSpace! You can start by riding more about trend following (this web site and their book are great: http://www.trendfollowing.com/ ) then find a good system and test it. Trend following is all about having the system and following it. You can start with a established trend following system or develop your own and don't forgot to intensively test any system before making any real trade.

With trend following you follow the markets, don't need to have crystal ball to know where they will go and you make money when the markets are moving, regardless if they move up or down...
